DONATION TO THE AGONA WEST MUNICIPAL HEALTH DIRECTORATE

On Wednesday, 15th December, 2021, the Fridaus Mubarak Yussif foundation partnered with Big Cap Micro Credit, an affiliate of Fri-Frans Group to donate hospital essentials to the Agona West Municipal Health Directorate.

The hospital essentials included; 127, 300 units of 1ml, 3ml and 20ml disposable syringe with needle, 27, 200 units of surgical gloves, 84, 000 units of infusion sets, 250 units of cotton wool, 300 boxes of nose mask and 7,500 tissues which is worth more than Ghc 400,000.00.

The lead for Fridaus Mubarak Yussif foundation as well as the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of Fri-Frans Group, said the subsidiaries of Fri-Frans does these things as part of its corporate social responsibility and that resonates with the mantra of Big Cap Micro Credit, which is; “…grow with us.” “We would want to grow with all and sundry but that must be on the premise of good health and well-being in consonance with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Goal 3”.

Still speaking, Mr. Fridaus Mubarak Yussif said, donations have been made to help the less privileged mothers who could not afford their medical bills and also supported them with some baby food and cash for their upkeeps in the past simply because giving back to the society makes him over joyous as H. Jackson Brown Jr. puts it, “remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more”.

He, therefore, called on stakeholders, corporate organizations, benevolent people in the diaspora and in Ghana to support communities to augment government’s effort in improving infrastructure in the health sector.
