FRIDAUS MUBARAK YUSSIF FOUNDATION REWARDS DESERVING TEACHERS AND EDUCATIONAL WORKERS IN THE KINTAMPO NORTH MUNICIPAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE
The long-awaited Kintampo Municipal Teachers Awards Day came to fruition during the climax of the Independence Day anniversary celebrations at the College of Health Park. The awards were evenly given to all the levels of the pre-tertiary Schools in the Municipality which includes the Primary school, the Junior High school, Senior High schools, and the non-teaching staff of the Kintampo Municipal Education Directorate. The rewarded teachers were presented with beautiful citations in addition to various mega prizes.
The prizes were; Motorbikes, refrigerators, Plasma TVs, Computer laptops, ceiling fans and some cash. In the Primary school category, the second runner-up who is in the name of Miss Baleriba Lucy, a teacher at Badariya Islamic Primary got a 43-inch TV set with a beautiful citation. The first runner-up who is a teacher at Wrukwan Basic School by the name Mr. Ali Moro got a beautiful citation and a refrigerator. The overall best teacher at the primary school level called Mr. Mobire Samson Baba got a brand new Apsonic motorbike with a beautiful citation. In the JHS category, the second runner-up in the name Mr Evans Liyimoa Mando of Kandige SDA JHS received a brand new 43-inch TV set and a beautiful citation. The first runner-up who is also a teacher at Asantekwaa SDA JHS, Mr Mensah Kwadwo received a brand new refrigerator and a beautifully crafted citation.
The overall best JHS teacher, Mr Daniel Yao Tornu who is a teacher at Kawampe M/A Basic School received a brand new Apsonic motorbike with a beautiful citation. At the Senior high school level, the hardworking teachers who prepared the students for this year’s Independence Day quiz competition were rewarded with two computer laptop citations a ceiling fan, and citations. The teachers who received these items were Mr. Eric Frimpong, Mr. Yajol Maliwu Stephen, and Mr. Jabir. The students were also given cash prizes of four hundred cedis for emerging victorious during the Independence Day quiz competition. The best educational worker at the Kintampo Municipal Education Directorate who is in the name of Mr. Kofi Tetteh was rewarded with a beautifully crafted citation and a brand new Apsonic motorbike.
Mr Tetteh has served very well by managing the logistics of the Municipal Education Directorate. The final reward was given to the Municipal Education Directorate for their continuous and consistent management of educational activities in the sector. The Directorate received a beautifully made citation and a brand new Apsonic motorbike to aid in supervisory duties. The Fridaus Mubarak Yussif Foundation and the Kintampo Municipal Education Directorate were much pleased to put smiles in the faces of hardworking teachers and educational workers within the Municipality.
